>> Hannes Wurm aka fishy (staging, text and visuals) completed his philosophy studies at the University of Vienna in 2003. He stages plays and works as a performer as well as video artist, set and light designer in Vienna’s independent scene. Among his stations are Schauspielhaus Wien under Hans Gratzer, Schauspielhaus Schaufenster (artistic director), Tanzquartier Wien, ImPulsTanz, brut Wien, donaufestival. Co-operations with Sebastian Bauer, Andreas Hamza, Jack Hauser, Barbara Kraus, Fritz Ostermayer, Stephanie Rauch, Hanne Römer, Peter Stamer, Chris Standfest, Akemi Takeya, Yosi Wanunu, and many others. In 2003 foundation of the independent theatre das Schaufenster.

Chris Standfest (dramaturgy) studied German language and literature, education science, cultural and gender studies in Regensburg, at the University of Lancashire, and at FU Berlin. Parallel political activism, theatre and translation work, trainings and collective projects in various fields. As a performer, theoretician, and dramatic adviser works with Silke Bake, Claudia Bosse/theatercombinat, Lisa Hinterreithner, Barbara Kraus, Gin Müller, Peter Stamer, Doris Uhlich, Katherina Zakravsky, and many others. Several publications, scenic projects and lectureships (universities of Leipzig, Bochum, Innsbruck, Vienna). Since 2012 dramatic adviser at ImPulsTanz and artistic director of the [8:tension] Young Choreographers' Series.

>> Sebastian Bauer (electronic music) has been working since 2007 as an independent composer and sound designer in the field of performance/theatre. Projects together with Anne Juren, Simon Mayer, Lise Lendais, Akemi Takeya, Ian Kaler, and others. Member of Kollektiv/Rauschen.

Andreas Hamza (instrumental music) lives and works in Vienna; sound engineer since 2002, musician since 1991, among others: live theatre music for Peer Gynt (Landestheater Bregenz, 2011), sound for In their name by Philipp Gehmacher (2010) and live composition for Voices of the unknown by Barbara Kraus (TQW, 2011).

Jack Hauser (performance) studied electroacoustic music in Vienna. 1994 founding member of the performance gang Lux Flux. He conceives performative visual art interventions and experimental works. Keen interest in co-operative work, e.g., with Daniel Aschwanden, Thomas Ballhausen, Milli Bitterli, David Ender, Karlheinz Essl, Philipp Gehmacher, Satu Herrala, Sabina Holzer, Anne Juren, Barbara Kraus, Elke Silvia Krystufek, Jeroen Peeters, Markus Schinwald, Oleg Soulimenko, Myriam Van Imschoot, Simon Wachsmuth.

>> Ian Kaler (dance) studied Transmediale Kunst at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and completed the pilot course of studies Zeitgenössischer Tanz, Kontext, Choreographie at HZT/UdK Berlin. Since 2010, in exchange with other artists, he develops pieces in choreographic series accompanied by work in (visual) media, and workshops for dancers with mixed abilities.

>> Franzi Kreis (documentation/photography) With her travelling exhibitions Finding Motherland and Father Earth, the artist Franzi Kreis drew attention to herself from Vienna to Sarajevo. Among other things, she works as a photographer and filmmaker for the Vienna Festival, Kulturlabor Gemeindebau, Vienna State Opera, the Viennese Library at the town hall, Brut Wien, and portrays artists on and behind the stage. Her first book of photographies Limelight was published in autumn 2020. Kopf hoch., her documentary film about Simon Mayer and his dance company, has just been finalized. In October 2021 her multimedial photography exhibition Mein Glück interessiert mich nicht was shown at the opening of SOHO STUDIOS.

Jan Maertens (light) works as a light designer in the field of contemporary dance and performance with Meg Stuart, Arco Renz, Philipp Gehmacher, Ian Kaler, Trajal Harrell, Padmini Chettur, Claire Croizé, Anna Mendelssohn, and Mustafa Kaplan & Filiz Sizanli. He also creates light designs for theatres and opera houses, e.g., Piet Arfeuille at Malpertuis theatre, and Mesut Arslan at Antwerp Toneelhuis. Apart from light design for stage performances, he is interested in collaborations for site specific projects and installations, e.g., with Lynda Gaudreau and Lawrence Malstaf.

Stephanie Rauch (graphic arts) studied stage and film design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and the Wimbledon School of Arts London. She conceives her works in the context of visual arts as well as for scenographic settings, making this interface her theme. Apart from her own artistic works, she develops spaces for independent productions of the choreographers Ian Kaler, Claudia Bosse, Philipp Gehmacher, and others. Moreover, she creates set designs for opera houses and festivals.

>> Hanne Römer (text) lives and works as an author and artist in Vienna. Her concept >> .aufzeichnensysteme denominates her authorship as well as an art work at the interface of word / image / sound.

>> Jakob Semotan (actor/music theatre) received his training at the Performing Arts Studios Vienna, and after completing his studies was engaged among others at the Raimund Theater in Vienna. Since 2017 Semotan has been a member of the Vienna Volksoper ensemble. In 2018 he received the Austrian Music Theatre Prize in the category “Best Rising Artist”. Moreover, performances at Bronski & Grünberg Theater and others.

>> Yosi Wanunu (actor/spoken theatre) is a stage director and studied art history, theatre and film in Israel, Europe, and the USA. Before moving to Vienna, he lived and worked in NYC, e.g., at BCBC, Ohio Theatre, La Mama ETC, at Here and at the Ontological-Hysteric Theatre of Richard Foreman. He is co-founder and artistic director of the label toxic dreams (since 1998). He also works with other independent groups and performers in Europe.
